Last year, Gordy’s Give Back Day raised more than $400,000 in one day. This year, we’re building even more momentum with a real-time progress bar and leaderboards that spotlight both overall fundraising and the number of participants hitting the $43 mark.
Here are some easy ways to raise $43 in just one day for Gordy’s Give Back Day on April 30, 2026. Don’t forget—you can use the FUNdraising app to accept donations via credit card, check, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Venmo!
- The $11 Challenge – Ask four friends to donate $11 each. Quick and easy!
- Social Media Blitz – Post your Relay fundraising link with a personal story (don’t forget a photo!) and ask for small donations. You might hit $43 in minutes!
- Lunch or Coffee for a Cause – Ask coworkers, friends, or family to donate what they would have spent on lunch or coffee today.
- Venmo Challenge – Post on social media asking friends to send $5 or $10 via Venmo and watch the donations add up.
- Quick Bake Sale – Bring cookies, brownies, or snacks to work or school and ask for small donations in exchange.
- Walk or Run for Donations – Commit to walking or running a certain distance and ask for $5 per mile or lap.
- Speed Fundraise with the FUNdraising App – Text, call, or message 9 friends and ask them to give $5 each.
